VIGA has two amazing fundraisers coming up in September so mark your calendars! Growing local, eating local, selling local helps reduce our carbon footprints….VIUF supports VIGA!

Earthen Bistro will be hosting a fundraising dinner on behalf of VIGA on Sept 11, 2022 at 5:30 pm. There will be a 7 course prix fixe dinner with wine pairings while supporting VIGA’s programs….like Get Growing videos, Food Access Partnership’s VIGA Farm Bucks, preserving Vashon harvest through the Food Preservation Initiative, CRAFT programming for 2023, direct farmer grants through the David Pfeiffer Sustainable Agriculture Fund, events at the Farmers Market, and so much more!

Later in September, La Biondo Farm and Kitchen will be hosting a Pizza Dinner Fundraiser on Sept 25, 2022 to support our Food Access Partnership! Karen Biondo of will be serving farm fresh pizza and you will have a chance to win half a Vashon born and raised Gloucestershire Old Spot pig (cut and wrapped) for $10/ticket (a $500 value!!). Other raffle items include a 5 gallon backpack sprayer and a set of new LED grow lights! Please purchase tickets by Sept 20, 2022 here!
