Dianne Niemann and Shauna Nelson, volunteers from Advocates for Immigrants in Detention Northwest (AIDNW), will share the organization’s mission/vision and core services provided to immigrants detained at the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma. Discussion and photos highlight work and living conditions faced while inside the detention center as well as challenges upon being released. The presentation will also include stories and images of released immigrants along with images of the expertly crafted handmade objects shared with AIDNW volunteers. They invite open dialogue and discussion as part of the presentation. Invite your friends.
