We’d love to have any member or friend of VIUF (Vashon Island Unitarian Fellowship) Join us on our annual retreat at Seabeck Resort on Hood Canal August 19, 20, and 21, 2022 (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday).

It’s a delightful site with delicious food and delightful companions and includes lovely hiking trails, a Chapel under the trees of the forest, time for special workshops related to our search for meaning in our lives, Yoga, in addition to fun and games, swims in the lake, and singing around the campfire in the evenings! It’s a wonderful chance to get better acquainted with your friends who have been attending VIUF on zoom over the past two years. Seabeck has plenty of safe outdoor spaces including spaces for music and singing, as well as big rooms for a Bingo tournament with prizes and other activities for young and old.

They require everyone attending to be vaccinated against COVID and to wear masks when indoors, except when eating. All staff are fully vaccinated as well.

Please let me know how many of you and your friends and/family will be attending and the ages of any children, as the price varies by age and also by which location you choose to stay in (some cost more that others, but the rooms will be given out in order of your reservations). Later in the Spring, I will need to collect a downpayment for your room and board for the three days. The meals are wonderful and include Dinner at 6 pm Friday night, Breakfast (8 am), Lunch (noon), & Dinner (6 pm) Saturday, and Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday before leaving.

All bedding, including clean sheets, blankets and pillows, plus towels and soap are all supplied for you.
